PROJECT EFFERVESCENCE

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary:

EFFERVESCE

intransitive verb

1:  to bubble, hiss, and foam as gas escapes

2:  to show liveliness or exhilaration

…which is exactly the goal of this project. To reach a point of effervescence. To become lively, and be filled with exhilaration from a sense of fulfillment.

Or just to bubble.

I am starting this hash-tag (because we are in the age of narcissism) PROJECT EFFERVESCENCE in 2015. I have noticed that for 2014, my total blog entries dwindled to 3. In addition to this, I have read only 6 books this year! That’s a small freaking amount of writing, and reading that occurred in a span of a whole year. That is what I plan on changing through this project.

WHAT IT IS: 365 days of blog entries, one per day

WHAT IT IS ABOUT: Anything or everything I could think of

THE GOAL: To be able to write one entry per day to improve on my writing skills, and get my creative juices flowing, and practice discipline (if I am being self-righteous here LOL)

THE SECONDARY GOAL: Because I will eventually need something to write about, I will be motivated (which is just a nice word for forced) to do something other than play games on my cellphone or laptop

THE CONSEQUENCE: I believe this wouldn’t be possible if I don’t have anybody keeping track of my progress. I will just end up throwing it aside, and forgetting it ever existed. So, it’s up to my sister to keep me in check. And she definitely would because for every day that I fail to publish an entry, she will be $5 richer. We decided on that because it is a large enough amount that will hurt my budget (especially now that I’m on a much tighter one) but small enough for me to afford if ever I miss more than a few days out of the month.

THE REWARD: Effervescence, of course!
